quick 'n easy project reguarding url rewriting.
Here is my concept that I need done.
We use postnuke extensivelly throughout all of our websites, and I am very happy with it.
I came across an open source program called jamroom, which can be found at [login to view URL]
I want to turn this program into a postnuke 'module' where it is embedded into postnuke properly. I call this concept a 'bridge' for future reference.
We allready have vbulletin and photopost bridged like this and just want to continue with the new program.
I didn't write the 'bridge' for vb or photopost but in looking at the 2 main pages that accomplish it, I noticed that it's pretty straightforward.
Basically the output from the 'module' is attached to a variable and prior to output all the url's are changed to run through the script prior to output on the page. This allows a user to click a link within the module and instead of leaving the postnuke framework like it would normally, the page the user gets is still a 'module' for postnuke.
I know this is a tough project to describe so it may be best to check out a link from a prior bridge we've had built to see what I am talking about.
If you goto [[login to view URL]][1] you will notice it's a postnuke site with vbulletin as a module. You will notice that all links within vbulletin have been changed, and anything you click within vbulletin stays inside of postnuke.
For anyone that understands what I'm talking about, has prior experience with this, and is interested in the project, please let me know, and I will provide further explanation.
thank you in advance
