Online Accounting Phase One

Need a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) team to build for me a first class accounting software for small businesses. Functions and features should be comparable to Quickbooks online and ePeachtree. Software must handle multiple companies books and allow books of selected companies to be consolidated for management and regulatory reporting. Only bidders with good understanding of accounting functions please. Bidder welcome to deliver in parts, with milestone payment for each part completed. Bid must include description of software you will develop (this should be easy for those who understand accounting). Bidder may use his/her own pre-existing intellectual property provided bid includes a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license for me to use, modify, re-sell and commercially exploit the software in any way I deem fit. Bids based on pre-existing intellectual property must be accompanied with a demo of the software. Phase Two will involve adding regulatory reporting functions for specific States. Phase Three will involve integration with other ERP/CRM type of products Successful bidder will also have opportunity to provide ongoing customization and maintenance service. So, plenty of work to follow. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
