The main customized modules installed at our existing osCommerce shop are (I tried to be as precise as I can but there maybe more):
A. Front End:
1. General information: Company logo, contact information, polices
2. Affiliate program
3. Gift vouchers
4. Search engine friendly HTML tags (product/category information pages)
5. zone-based shipping methods and postage
6. Customized payment methods including Google Checkout, Paypal, Protx (Sage pay)
7. Modified email sending methods
8. Added Google Adsense and [login to view URL] Affiliates with global ON/OFF switch
9. Added Visual Verification Code
10. Added Agreed to Conditions when check out
11. Added cross sell and buy-two modules (with backend controls)
B. Back End (admin):
1. Added account page: which list the orders and sum up quantity/value of each product under different payment methods
2. Added Shipping Label batch-printing pages, admin can assign different shipping methods to individual orders in a list, then generate shipping labels, fetch the tracking Nos, and email customers accordingly
3. Added several CSV order list import modules, to import orders from marketplace site like Amazon (UK, France), Ebay, and Pixmania
4. Added search customer by product model page, and functions to send customized batch-emails to those selected customers in the list
5. Modified customer list page, including options to search customer by company, post code, email address or names
6. Enhanced order editor, possibly to edit almost every field of the order including comments
7. Added manual order entry module
8. Added inventory bulk edit module
9. Modified Affiliate invoicing module, only calculating those orders that were actually completed (shipped)
10. Added Google product FTP upload
11. Modified email sending methods, and auto-check unsuccessful sendings
The work and payment schedule:
1. You set up the new osCommerce shop in a test server hosted by 1and1. 10% paid in advance.
2. I will check if all the modules are still working as they should be. Another 30% paid
3. You upgrade our existing shop (in our dedicated server hosted by [login to view URL]). Making sure all the data /files are up to date. Another 40% paid
The above 3 stages must be completed in 2 weeks. There will be 1% (of the total cost) penalty for each and every day delayed.
4. In the following month we will report any bugs there might be, and each bug should be fixed accordingly in 1 week. Another 15% paid
5. In the following 6 months, we will report any bugs there might be, and each bug should be fixed accordingly in 1 week. The final 5% paid
