OS Commerce with Administrative Module and Accounting Synchronization

This website is a will be used to distribute items purchased by Ezra distributing by selling wholesale to its Dealers. Dealers may login and “shop for items to purchase at a wholesale price.” Ezra distributing has many different products ranging from: Medical supplies; Trailer Supplies; Solar and Wind energy products; and antique car products. Each Dealer may “log-in and see the products that are in their category only. Some Products may be listed as both a “medical supply and a trailer supply” such as a carrier to lift a mobility scooter, but many products are unrelated. We would like customers to “log in” and order the product that they need at their specified price level. Some of our dealer may have different price levels than others. We sell some of our products with a set shipping price while others we will need to quote through UPS. A United Parcel Service module for OS Commerce would work well here. Still other customers have a discount price due to their large yearly quantities. Other customers receive 5% off when they buy more than 3 off certain items. Yet other customers ask us to ship directly to their customer, and then we charge a higher price. When customer log into the site, they often repeat orders, so if they can review past orders and duplicate them quickly, and change them quickly, then they would be happy to order through the site. I think a line sheet order for would work well for this feature. It is just a line sheet with drop down boxes and or word completion option so if a customer wants a Qty 1 VH-55 RO SINGLE MOTORCYCLE CARRIER WITH RAMP, they can type VH-55 RO and the entire line would auto-complete. The site needs to be a database website so that we can make changes to the site without needing to be Graphic Designer or Programmers. We need to be able to accumulate and then download a copy of the sales data into our QuickBooks Accounting Software using a .iif database file. We would like to download from the time of the last download or from a specified date to present or a specified date. We would like the complete records to remain stored online.. GUI: Graphic User Interface: This is the back-end conception of the ezradistributing web site. For the ezradistributing web site we need to be able to add and remove products for sale doing a lot of coding. In this report there are snapshots of our current system. We don’t use every feature that our current system has since we are not using the Accounting features of our Mail order Manger Software. We definitely use the software to maintain accurate information about our products Here is a list of Features That We Use. 1. Inventory (actual qty, or a general message, in stock / out of stock) 2. Price (We would like different pricing levels for different types of customers) 3. Maintain Images of the Product that are used a Main picture or Thumbnails. 4. Add a % sales Tax to orders (shipped within Indiana only) 5. Maintain an Html description (with pictures) that will show up on the site. 6. Up sell and Cross sell through the shopping cart. 7. Organize the items into departments. 8. Order by browsing or by Line Item Form for frequent customers. 9. Customer can see past orders and can duplicate and alter new orders. 10. We need to be able to Change the items for sale easily.
