DTMF message extraction from WAV files

I need some good, well-commented C or C++ code to analyse WAV files and output an XML file describing tones contained in the file. The tones will be any from the standard DTMF set (data tones), and two single tone frequencies (RTS and ACK). The XML should describe when the tones occurred, their frequency (or frequencies if dual-toned), their duration and their SNR (power level above the average noise floor). ? The XML should also list the messages sent (sequence of data tones separated by ACK/RTS tones). ## Deliverables The XML output should also contain a few file-related fields such as audio file duration, number of channels and how many tones (of which type) and completed messages were seen. The programme should output error codes describing how things went and also log to stderr and stdout. The schema design and agreement is part of the task. The WAV files could be single or double channel, with the tones (single or dual) occurring in either channel. ? The XML output should describe which audio channel the tones appeared in. Full source-code and build environment notes should be provided. ? The deployment environment will be SUSE Enterprise Linux. Producing a SUSE installation package is optional but would be a bonus. Test audio files will be provided to the successful supplier, once design notes and XML schema are accepted. ? Staged payment is an option against an agreed task plan with milestones.
