General: - It will be a dynamic and interactive website. - The site will be based on ratings (1 to 5 star ratings) - Main idea is to be a "reference" web site. - Similar web sites are [login to view URL], [login to view URL] Rating system: - Things from several categories like movies, computer games, TV shows, web sites, books, brands etc. will be rated by the registered users. - Cumulative ratings will be calculated with a mathematical approach (Bayesian average) - There will be top lists ordering the "rated things" acc. to several criterias. Users should be able to make advanced filtering. - Security is important (Duplicate votes or vote abusing should be prevented) Membership System: - Content will be created also by the users. (They will upload, comment, rate etc.) - There will be a complex hierarchical membership system. Every action in the web site will give some "points" to the members. Members are promoted with these points and gain more abilities in the web site. (Something like a RPG game in web site: gather points-level up-do new things etc.) - Members will have own profile pages. They will be able to follow, message each other. - Social media entegration (Facebook post, login, twitter comment, etc.) Design - It will be simple, minimalistic but quality. (I like this [login to view URL] design for example) - To mention again: Simple & Quality view is not an easy goal to reach. Others: - The web site will also have mobile version (This can be discussed seperately) Notes: * To be able to have a similar living timeframe it is important to have around GMT +2, GMT+3 .
