About the Team<br /><br />The engineering organization at MuleSoft is responsible for the architecture, development, validation and scaling of our platforms that power thousands of customers and millions of integrations and APIs in the cloud. If you have great analytical abilities and can think how to test end to end solutions, we are the right team.<br /><br /><br /><br />About The Position<br /><br /><br />Software QA Engineers at MuleSoft are sharp with great analytical skills to handle complex integration validation of MuleSoft product portfolio with advanced technologies and state of the art automation tools.<br /><br />We are a fast-paced group and growing fast. The team handles entire functional, regression and automation aspects of deliverables. You will be working with teams in Argentina and San Francisco handling functional validation aspects for our Anypoint Integration and Anypoint API platform technologies that support both on premise and SaaS mode of delivery.<br /><br /><br /><br />Position Deliverables<br />Review requirements, functional specification and come up with comprehensive test strategy in a highly agile development environment<br />Responsible for planning and executing functional and system level tests for products across diverse OS and other industry standard technologies<br />Writing test plans and test cases for one or more medium to large and highly integrated functional areas.<br />Interact with existing automated tools, running automation, analyzing failures and reporting issues<br />Liaising with developers and managers on technical issues, impact and risk areas.<br />Overseeing software defect tracking and regression for identified project releases.<br />Driving the integrity and quality of technical work on significant projects<br />Establishing and maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of all work including status updates to summarize project highlights.<br />Serving in a test lead capacity on projects of moderate complexity, where coordination with other engineers is required.<br />Maintaining close liaison with other departments on technical matters and working closely with cross functional teams or customers on technical information, handling escalation issues etc<br />Actively supporting and enforcing the company's software engineering processes and standards within the group.<br /><br />About You<br />A BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related discipline<br />Strong understanding of software quality testing and product release lifecycle.<br />Extensive knowledge and discipline in software engineering process and the development lifecycle<br />Strong knowledge of highly Integrated environments<br />Expertise in system level and embedded system validation<br />Strong background in cloud and virtualization technologies<br />A passion for testing enterprise software products<br />Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills<br />Proficiency with software development estimation, engineering tools, and concepts<br />Demonstrated success as a primary tester on multiple large projects.<br />Excellent oral and written communication skills<br />Exposure to Linux and open source technologies is desirable<br />Working experience with development environments based on Java, API, Web Services is desirable<br />Prior experience with unit test and functional test frameworks, selenium or any UI automation experience is recommended<br />Core Values<br /><br />Innovation.
