College Graduate Android Software Engineer

Job description<br />Job Description: Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement layout tools and design rule checkers, electronic data processing systems software. Determines computer user needs, advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements, designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgement and formal software process. <br /><br />Qualifications<br /><br />Our candidates must possess either a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field with passion to become future Technical Leaders. <br /><br />- Excellent written, verbal and presentation English skills <br />- Excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills <br />- Highly proficient in C and C++ <br />- Expertise in Shell Scripting, Python or Perl <br />- Linux OS Internals knowledge <br /><br />- Experience with Software Development Methodologies <br /><br />Organizational Responsibilities <br /><br />- Strong team player with self-motivation, self-starter and passionate about Personal Career Development <br />- Rapid learning and ramping on new technologies <br />- Highly effective collaborating in multiple initiatives, product teams and geographies <br /><br />Preferred Qualifications <br /><br />- Knowledge of x86 processor architecture and assembly language (ASM) <br />- Linux System Programming experience <br />- Knowledge of Linux Kernel Development and Device Drivers <br />- Imaging, Media, Graphics, Pre-Si or Communication knowledge
