Develop a DLL to query Spatial Database in .NET

We are looking for a skilled programmer in .NET (C# or VB) with GIS knowledge (Google Maps API). This development is a DLL that will be integrated in a bigger software. This is a confidential project and you are required to sign an NDA before we give you the specific project requirements. Source code will be owned by us. Quality and documentation is a must. Validation, testing and quality control assurance of the process should be provided. This is the first step of a bigger project. The developer hired may get many more assignments ahead. Description of the assignment: Procedure: 1- The DLL will connect to MySQL Spatial to get some trips in a city. 2- Then it will compute some information with that data calling some specific web services. 3- The computed data will be inserted in a database. Specifications: - Database has several millions of records so optimization, parallelization and indexing will be required. - Process will be asynchronous. - MySQL is an AWS/RDS. - Code compatible with VS 2012 or above, framework 4.6. - 64 bits. Protocol - To kick-off the project a meeting (via Skype) with project manager (an experienced developer engineer) for specification detailed information and approach will be required. - Sample data for testing will be provided and access to the RDS. - Daily updates for quick feedback and doubts. - Once development is finished it will be tested against the complete database for final validation by us and a shared report will be generated for review, checking and control of the quality of the process. - Final payment will be made when development runs correctly in complete database. Deliverables: - Source code. - Schematic documentation (we aren´t looking for long docs!). Timing: Day 1: Kick-off. Day 2-5: Development and feedbacks. Day 5-7: Tests and bug-fixing with the complete database. Day 8: OK and payment.
