I know what is the reason Hello! I am system administrator, so really I cant know the reason why do you have server before Ill look on it, it can be disk IO, cpu, mysql so a lot of factors. Can I take a look on your server? thanks/

Hello, As i read the response time is very huge. to fix that the server nned many tweaks. there is much thing to do. 1st of all your MySQL need to be tweaked to cache the requests, then your hard drive read/write IO's need to be checked. it can be also your Apache server wich don't hande normally your requests. a good thing to reduce the time response and server charge is to use a CDN. i've done this for some websites already. for sure it can't be done in 1 day because there is some Survey and analyze needed. if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me. have a good day

I know what is the reason :) This behavior is normal, while you want to regenerate page for each visitor. I think, if you use some caching technics - result will be much better. I mean cache plugins and nginx.

I know what is the reason, that is because your test site is on a shared hosting (alpha hosting de). But believe me - the 172 ms to connect and 272 ms to wait for first byte is NOT that bad for a WordPress on a shared hosting. 563 ms for the first request is something, what premium hosting like WP Engine usually offers. If you really want to improve that - and mind you, there ARE technical limits to what a web site could offer in a sense of timing - then you will need to put it into the specialized WordPress hosting, with big attention to caching, or into cloud with load balancing. Anyways, to win the results better than that you will need to invest into specialized or tailored hosting. All other resources from the page could be optimized, and the time to load could be shortened, media could be pushed to CDN, but still - it will load only after that 0.6 of seconds, unless you change the hosting dramatically. I know what is the reason Without ssh access to the server i would'nt really know what is the issue, but have you tried newrelic ? they even have a free plan, you install their daemon on your server and it will tell you exactly why the page is responding slow, what is causing the slow response and how can you optimize it. I am not really bidding on the project, i just though to give you a free hint!

To analyze server response time, you will need to start a packet capture from both end points, gather the logs from the server, analyze it using different metrics tools collected from the server. Try using collectd to identify any thing going on the system. If not contact me and I can do it, pay after job is done.

Hi I believe that I know what the reason is for this behaviour. I noticed that it does take a long time to cache some of the dependencies initially. I would need to chat with you about this before I can say for sure.
