I think the MBTI's 4X4 personality typesXdichotimies are so closely knitted that the questionnaire requires some cognitive and confirmative questions also to eliminate participant's bias. Cutting down the number of questions would bring down the efficiency of the tests. My suggestion is to go by a simple questionnaire which would focus only on the 4 personality types and generalize them, if your requirement is to really cut short the time to attend the questions.
