Project—Conference Management System Purpose: The purpose of this project is to analyze and design a software system. Through the project development, students should learn the differences of the methods, and their advantages and disadvantages. System Description: A research conference is to gather researchers to share new ideas, methods, and discoveries to benefit human society. This project needs you to implement a system that will help people to hold and manage a conference. There are three types of users and your system will help them to do their tasks described below: 1. Researchers: paper submission, conference registration, conference check-in 2. Paper Reviewers: paper biding (each paper will be reviewed by three reviewers; each reviewer will review no more than seven papers), paper reviewing (review results shall be kept in a database) 3. Conference: event advertising, paper review result notification, different searching functions to make the other tasks easy Other considerations that will make the system better are welcome. To accomplish the project, your system needs to satisfy at least the following requirements: For project: 1. Use DFD to analyze and design the system 2. Use a non-OO language to implement the system 3. Consider memory space efficiency and robustness 4. Compare UML method and DFD method Output: You will create the following documents for the project: 1. Requirements Specification Report 2. Design Specification Report 3. Code 4. User manual
