Need API Controller that adds data to database written for laravel project

I have a laravel site and I want to pass data to an API Controller via a Json Post request. Basically it should do this A Post request will be sent to the API endpoint, with various pieces of data from a google extension (json format). The user authentication should be validated (The user will already be validated and have a token in the chrome extension which can be passed to the api endpoint to revalidate from server side) It should validate the data, and once validated should be stored in the database and the posted file saved in relevant location (at moment using Laravel filesystem)
