Aloha, I am a new Realtor from Maui, Hawaii. I am setting up a website for my business with some assistance from another freelancer using wordpress. My goal for the site is to promote specific properties as well as have MLS/IDX integration (have not selected a service yet and may or may need installation work for IDX). To drive traffic plan on writing (or outsourcing) articles relevant to the markets I'm targeting. Articles will have links/landing pages for the purpose of capturing lead information and/or encouraging readers to contact me. Once I have a good base of custom content (currently have 5 articles) I will start to mix in other pre-written content that my brand/franchise provides. There will need to be a good amount of SEO, Līnk-Building, Social Media Marketing among other tasks needed to drive desired traffic and reach desired search engine ranking. I also have a lot of Excel spreadsheets of housing data in my area to sort and search public records for matching information to obtain contact information (As a side mote Iam convinced there is a better way to do that, possibly connecting with them on facebook then downloading all account data to retrieve phone numbers and email addresses. Lol it is virtually virtual business head hunting).
So that is sort of the sum of work that im looking at and chipping away at every day to build a successful business. I until recently had next to no budget but things are looking up and its a better ROI to outsource some of this workload so I can focus on my actual job of listing and selling homes so maybe one day I can vacation and get a bigger apartment. O happy day.
As another side note: I have had excellent luck with freelancers in the past for the purpose of website building, coding, software development ect. I have had terrible experience with freelancers in the past for the purpose of content writing. I have never outsourced SEO work before to freelancer.
Please let me know your thoughts, your skills, experience, ability, what you can do to help me succeed and most importantly your rate :)
(not my name, Hawaiian thank you)
