Need development of a complete mulit-layer extension (first release will be in Chrome). Looking for proposals that including development of a UI Layer, Application Layer, and Database Layer. UI Layer of the extension will need to interact with various web pages (see [login to view URL] as an example). Also, the UI layer will need to interact with several API's, and be highly customizable. The UI will need to configured per webpage the application interacts with, hence the highly customizable. Application Layer will consist of several APIs such as Login, Search, Purchase, Logout (have identified between 5 and 8 that need to e created). Looking for proposals to provide recommendations on how these will be developers (ie. Java, .Net, other) and why. Also, APIs will need to be flexible and plug an play for the UI. There will be at least one 3rd party in which integration is required (could be up to 3). For the Data Layer, looking for recommendations on what technologies to use (ie. SQL Server, MongoDB, Other). Also, need developers to know how to write complex queries, index tables, and write stored procedures. Looking for proposals to include high level architecture of proposed solution (happy to discuss in further detail - however still would like some detail showing an understanding of full stack development as this is more than just a simple UI). Please see attached powerpoint and provide answers to questions regarding each later. I am looking for a group that has all the required skillsets. Please included completed powerpoint with proposal. If any questions, feel free to ask. Also, the budget is just a starting point....please submit proposals even if over budget.

more information about usecase needed for deciding the technical questions you raised. NOTE: everything needs to be discussed and negotiated first. the default terms are placed to ensure such discussion takes place before job is awarded. In pursuance to "Milestone Payments" as in Freelancer terms and conditions, first milestone payment needs to be deposited on Freelancer within a day, ibapi is awarded the project, failing which the awarding of the project by the seller will be deemed void and the offer by ibapi will be deemed to have been retracted. not be accepted by ibapi. first milestone becomes payable after requirement analysis is done. requirement analysis is "Contract-style requirement lists" as defined under "Requirements_analysis" in wikipedia. Explanation: this is essentially an upfront payment. first milestone deposited before job is accepted and paid after requirement analysis as explained in message board.

What javascripts (ie. jquery, custom, etc) do you expect to have to use when developing the front end extension? This will be purely javascript extension. Can you provide an example of an extension that you have created in the past? Wiksate Ptv LTD. Plugin for elearning. Where user can login and save their research papers. Do you also create custom graphics? Yes. How will you secure/encrypt the messages between the UI and the Application layer? Our Logic will in running on background thread. So it will Secure. What technologies (ie., java, .Net, php) and frameworks (ie., for Java - Spring, Struts) do you recommend for the development of the Application Layer? I will suggest to use Crossrider framework. It uses javascript and html which is very light weighted. How do recommend securing messages between Application Layer and 3rd Party as well as Database (can be as simple as deploy infrastructure behind firewall). I would suggest to development website service in php or .net which handles security. What technologies do you use/recommend for encrypting passwords for Login? we use token for session management. We send encrypted data to server, which is decrypted by our server only. Have you integrated with 3rd party webservices, specifically credit card processors? If so, which ones? Yes. I am a sun certified java programmer with over 12 years of experience in designing and developing applications. My clientele includes tier-1 companies in banking and insurance domain in the UK. ( References can be provided upon request) I have an extensive experience in building N-tier applications. The solution will be built using software standard architecture and design patterns. We can have a chat and take this forward, for now here are my recommendations on various technologies. 1. Web Tier - java fx, spring mvc,JSON data-structure(to consume the API especially when its REST based). 2. Middle Tier - consisting the business logic which will be implemented in POJO and can be exposed as webservices ( SOAP/REST) depending on the functionality being exposed and data being passed. 3. Datbase tier - SQLLite ( free database engine which is quite robust) but we can go for another databse MSSQL , Oracle or DB2. If there is heavy data processing on database end then it will be via Stored procedures else Prepared statements will work well. 4. For any batch ( extract/transformation/load asynchronously) - spring framework or camel can be used. 5. Encryption - SSL. 6. Resilience/DR - depending on budget, multiple web servers, number of application server and replication strategy etc. 7. third party - have worked on 3rd party web-service - world pay integrating with a java/CISCO based telephony app. 8.
