Qt Graphical User Interface - 16539

A Qt3.3 graphical user interface (GUI) application requires an expert Qt & C++ programmer to code the necessary functions on a Linux Red-hat based platform. The cosmetic/appearance of the forms/pages has already been created and a “[login to view URL]” file will be the starting basis for this development. A detailed software specification has been compiled and is available upon request. This GUI is a 5 page wizard implementation with an average of 20 buttons/switches/linedits/displays per page, that will read a text based input deck file (IDF). The structure of the IDF has already been designed and upon starting the application, the GUI displays a Qt splash-screen (already completed) and populates all the necessary parts of the GUI with this input data. Four C++ procedures will need embedding into the GUI, but these can either be re-written in Qt or compiled and run as stand-alone binaries with standard I/O handlers. After guiding the end-user through the wizard, the application then must simply stream every GUI selectable option to a text based output-file. Although this project is simple and straight-forward, it has been designed as a testing ground for freelance cooperation. It forms a very small part of a very big development and will potentially lead to significant future collaboration.
