Campaign against Measure E in Palo Alto, CA
Measure proposes to increase hotel taxes to the highest in the state of CA
I would like to have a graphic of the state of CA that shows:
Anaheim - Hotel tax 15% and an image that represents Disneyland - Mickey mouse - the point it to show that Anaheim has something that merits currently being the highest hotel tax in CA
San Francisco 14% image golden gate bridge
Palo Alto 15.5% with a question mark? the questioning emoji? an image that shows PA does not have what it takes to be the highest hotel tax i the state , we are not a tourist destination. maybe an image of boring office buildings like silicon valley
the idea is to show / compare the 3 cities and illustrate that PA has nothing to justify being the highest hotel tax in CA
Anaheim 15%
SF 14%
Palo Alto 15.5%
I would also like on the map - but a little smaller - the town of Healdsburg showing 14% no need for an image / icon
This is because there is a council member that continue to say Healdsburg hotel tax is 16% so that at 15.5 % Palo Alto would not be the highest but that is an inaccurate statement so I would like to highlight it here.
I would like to be able to use a graphic like this for FB ads, print ads, a 20x30 poster. We need to get something visual in front of people quickly and effectively
What we have has too much text and not easy for voters to access and remember
