39 Illustrations for Children's Book

ABOUT THE PROJECT A friend and I are writing a children’s book, and am seeking an illustrator to complete 39 high-quality illustrations (includes front and back cover) and text placement and page design (11x8.5” page dimensions). Please respond in your proposal an example of past similar work. If we select you, we will set project milestones together to work collaboratively and pay per page. The text of the book is complete, and we have detailed descriptions for each illustration and character. ABOUT THE BOOK The book is about a boy finding his way in the world that seems eerily similar to a big corporation. The book is meant to primarily appeal to the parents reading the book. Think of it as the Office Space of children's books. The book is satirical with a lot of subtle workplace and school-aged humor... but not potty-humor. It'll make the parents laugh out loud, while leaving the child wondering what's so funny. The main character is an 8 year old boy that undergoes a transformational journey. In it, he explores his relationship with his family, friends, school, work, and ultimately himself. He starts his own business by following his passion, but soon gets off track. The book follows his journey of finding meaning in work, and the world around him. We are very excited about the book, and are confident it can be a big success.
