I need a Flash game made similar in scope to Flash Strike at [login to view URL]
I will be putting in all of my own graphics so all I need is the bare bones core of the game itself.
For starters I need placeholders made for the cutscenes:
- Opening logo animations
- Opening cutscene
Gameplay-wise:
- The player can choose from a variety of three different weapons: a pistol, a shotgun, and a machine gun. The pistol will fire fast and fairly accurate but only holds six shots before having to be reloaded (R key). The shotgun fires much slower but has a wider range of damage. The machine gun will fire fastest but is quite inaccurate.
- Like the flashbangs in the Flash Strike game, the player should be able to throw grenades that will explode after a certain time period. These will damage any enemies within a small range of the explosion.
- Enemies will throw things at you and fire at you. I need a damage meter on screen that shows when you get hit. After a certain number of hits the game is over.
- When you get hit, I need an animation that plays on screen like a blast, blood spatter, whatever.
The levels will work like this:
Each "Scenario" will have 2 levels. After shooting all targets in the first level, the second level loads. After shooting the first enemy in a level, a cutscene will show. After shooting the last enemy in a level, a custscene will show. I need to be able to make each level get progressively harder, where enemies fire more or faster, there are more enemies, etc. as the game goes on. I will make graphics for the levels, so there is really no end to the scenarios: the 2 level cycle scenario keeps repeating until the player is dead, getting progressively more difficult.
- Final Score: At the end of the game the player will be shown a closing cutscene and then a score showing their shot hit\miss ratio, and they will have the opportunity to add their high score to a list that's kept online at my web site (using mySQL perhaps)
All elements that are gameplay specific should be able to be easily modified by me in the code as I test the gameplay and tweak things. The rates of fire, the damage given and taken, etc. The code itself should be commented enough that I can find these variables easily.
