For my estimate I am assuming that you really want only proofreading and not copy editing. You do say ready for publisher, so I guess proofreading only is required. My normal reading speed of good quality English is about 7,000 words per hour. Add two hours for making edits and corrections brings the total time to about 13 hours at my standard rate of $30 / £22 per hour = £286. I can guarantee turnaround in 7 days.
