Hi, I am an experienced process control engineer with deep knowledge of different brands of PLC like Allen Bradley, Siemens, ABB and GE. This a typical proposal for a standard PLC job. What I am including as scope of supply is the following:
- Hardware drawings, that is the design of the power and grounding of the PLC cabinet, and the field connections. The drawings are made using EPLAN P8 and will be delivered in both dwg and pdf formats. Typical delivery are: system architecture, power and grounding, cabinet arrangement, PLC I/O connection, terminal connections diagrams and cable lists. The scope I am proposing is limited to 32 I/O.
- Software. Depending on the chosen PLC the delivery typically include the software files and documentation. The programming can be done in any of the IEC61131 languages like ladder logic, function blocks, instruction lists or structured language.
As you can see the payment is broken down in two milestones: hardware drawings delivery and software and documentation delivery.
To start the project I will need a complete and detailed description of the process logic, a list of the inputs and outputs and any other information related to the project and pertinent to the PLC programming.
I hope my proposal is what you expect and look forward to work with you in this project.
Thanks for the opportunity.
