I have just completed an in-place migration of Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager from 3.70 to 3.93. The service is online and the UI loads normally, yet every developer now receives “permission denied” messages when they try to pull from or publish to our Maven, npm, and Docker repositories. At this point I am not entirely sure whether the problem lies in role mappings, privilege inheritance, or another post-upgrade quirk, so I need someone with deep Nexus experience to jump in, diagnose the root cause, and restore seamless access. What I expect you to do: • Review and correct all roles, privileges, and repository targets so authenticated users can reach the appropriate Maven, npm, and Docker endpoints. • Validate access locally from a clean workstation by performing typical actions: Maven install, npm install, npm publish, docker pull, and docker push. • Leave a short report outlining what was changed and any recommendations to prevent a repeat issue in future upgrades. If you’ve untangled Nexus permission puzzles before, this should be straightforward work. I’m ready to give you SSH/UI access as soon as we agree to start, and I’ll be available for quick questions throughout.
