I have data of fishing vessel. Interval time of this data is about 30 seconds according to each fishing vessel The type of this fishing vessel is trap. This trap vessel is sailing to fishing ground or in port. If this trap vessel arrive at fishing ground, cast nets for hours(mostly daytime ) -> standy by for hours -> hauling nets(mostly nighttime) I’d like to extract the only fishing data using pattern recognition from the full data. I don't need the sailing data. please apply the pattern recognition technique(SVM, hidden markov model, neuro network etc) or other technique I attatched powepoint and matlab data. please contact

Hello! I checked your data. It only has 7 fields, meaning none of them that are actually required to de-mark the fishing areas. I've two basic questions: What is your expected output? What is your expected input? I understand that I'll have to include features by manually creating them from the given data, so as to reproduce the ones that are actually usable to find these fishing data such as the hauling time, hauling speed, distance between them and so on. About classification, we can use linear classifiers such as logistic regression which I guess shall do fine, else SVM etc. can be used. If that still doesn't work, we can also employ neural nets for non-linear hypothesis functions. Please let me know if you'd like to go ahead with it. I'll need 4 Days & $ 100 to give you a MATLAB code that can run on any such dataset in future. Or just give you the sample output from this data without any of other things. You can decide and let me know. Thanks!!
