I am very interested in being considered for the Bookkeeping position. I am presently receiving Social Security Disability Benefits and have been actively seeking employment from home to supplement my income. I am good at following instructions and have the ability to complete projects accurately and in a timely manner. I also possess excellent written and oral communication skills. I am proficient with MS Excel, Quicken, QuickBooks and QuickBooks Pro, which is the software I used for 10 years with my awards business, and I continue to use the program for my freelance finances. I presently have both applications on my computer. The last QuickBooks project I completed was for a plumbing and heating company which lasted 6 months and remote access was used. Duties involved invoice and payment entries, as well as setting up and classifying inventory items, expenditures and vendors. In addition, I re-categorized inventory/expense items, deleted duplicate customer entries and made other changes as instructed. I also reconciled monthly bank statements and categorized cost of goods sold and, produced reports as requested. I will gladly provide a PDF letter of reference that was received from the last QuickBooks job I completed for Geiger Services through guru.com.
