Now, MsSql vs MongoDB - After working on both database I would always prefer MongoDB for his elastic nature. Though in your case I am not sure MongoDB would helpful. The main concern with MongoDB is you will have to pay extra development cost. I always say to my client that if MS SQL Server is working well for you then stick with it. You have not mentioned any valid reason WHY you want to use MongoDB except I am assuming a fact that you learnt about it as a document oriented db. Now that is true that All NoSQL data bases are built to scale-out on commodity hardware. You might be thinking of improving performance by scaling-up. You can start with a reasonable machine and as the load increases, you can keep adding more servers (scaling-out). You no need to plan and buy a high end server with MongoDB. Now, coming to the main requirement. It would simply work like a Job Portal. - Company will register to the site and will post job. They will be able to search candidate and would be able to send email to invite in interview. - Job Seekers can register to the site and can search the desired Job. From the application they can apply for suitable job. Though, I am not sure you want to keep any Application limit or not. - Regarding notification, in which occasions you want to send email, you will please specify the exact ocassions would be pleasure. I am very skilled in SQL Server and ASP.NET so I could help with that part. I have not used Angular.js so you would need to get someone that know that well. I could find someone to help out with it but they would have to bid under me, or separately. I can come down on the price if you only want me to handle the SQL Server portion. I'm a real expert on SQL Server. And it always needs an expert to make it run fast on the front end! Keep me in mind for reports as well.
