I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too). I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc. I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch. 1 - it looks you can't find an online dome calculator and the previous freelancer awarded with the project couldn't deliver... 2 - i could provide you the shapes/drawings for the igloo generated from the 3d model as long as you'll give me the dimensions - inner radius/diameter, height till the tip, height from where the dome starts, entry - height/width, etc 3 - based on these dimensions, and the 3d model i will create, i will make the panels to be used as the inner support and also the ribs to keep the panels in position having all these drawings, you'll be able to start building igloos... Hello, This is a project that is within my means of completion. I have worked with molding tools before that directly interact with Solidworks. I would love to start working on this project right away and could finish it quickly. I would like to share a couple of photos with you of the shape that I beleive matchs what you are describing to make sure that you get the product that you are looking for. I can also provide you with information about how diffent types of platisc interact with externals loads on the structure.
