Writer for Real Estate & Mortgage Newsletters

My Pro Email, LLC is seeking a newsletter writer to support the launch of a new email marketing platform for the real estate and mortgage industry in the United States. We are looking to hire a professional writer to help design our newsletters and to write them on an on-going basis. Subscribers (real estate agents, mortgage professionals, etc.) to our new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform will have a traditional email marketing service capability (like Constant Contact or GetResponse). Additionally, a Subscriber can elect to "subscribe" to one or more recurring newsletters. These newsletters are bound to a topic range, such a "Monthly Mortgage Market Update." The newsletters are freshly written on a periodic basis. Then each period (week/month), when we release the newsletter, the Subscriber automatically has the newsletter to email to their contacts within our platform. Primary Responsibilities * Lead the selection and design of a number of recurring newsletter bodies (if design layout is not your strong suite, we can hire a layout expert to make the newsletters visually appealing) * Identify appropriate source material and confirm its validity when appropriate * Write the newsletters on an ongoing basis Some of the newsletters under consideration include.. Weekly Mortgage Newsletters We would like to offer three versions. The range would be from technical to much lighter. Please see [login to view URL] for the three newsletters that we currently offer. If writing the technical market analysis is not your specialty, we can provide that content. Monthly Mortgage Newsletter A newsletter that a mortgage professional would send out to their customers on a monthly basis. Topics would revolve around mortgages, housing, personal finance and other appropriate areas. Monthly Real Estate Newsletters We would like to offer 2-3 distinctly different newsletters. Topics could be very wide ranging, but each newsletter needs to have some bounds. So, we could have a Home Focused newsletter that has topics ranging from DYI projects and ideas to maintenance. Then another that is more market focused. We are very open to ideas! Required Attributes * Strong knowledge of the real estate and mortgage markets Outstanding English writing skills * Experience working with various newsletter editing software and/or services * Ability to work independently * Strong commitment to provide services in a timely and professional manner * Ability to quickly learn new software platform *Understanding of writing for individual agents/companies vs blogs, magazines or other entities Strong Pluses * Experience working in the real estate or mortgage industry * Experience working with mobile-responsive email, especially EDMdesigner ([login to view URL]) * Experience writing content used across multiple agents
