Volunteers for Helpizen

[login to view URL] is a website that caters to the stories of helping citizens.
Everyday we read news of how people are cruel and inhuman, so much so that we tend to lose all hope in humanity. But we forget to see other side of the coin. There are people spending day and night trying to make complete strangers feel a little better, safer and hopeful about their otherwise unfortunate lives. These helpful people, helping citizens as I call them, get divided attention most of the time in the mainstream media. A lot of them are nameless and faceless people working silently to keep the humanity alive. Not giving them enough attention creates a delusion that humanity is cruel. I wish to restore the balance in the perception by bringing their stories to those who feel hopeless about the future of humanity.
The idea is to:
1. Provide a platform to those who are doing something to make this world a better place.
2. Inspire laymen to act rather than complain about issues that are possible to be solved.
3. Share solutions undertaken by people to solve their community issues which could be adapted to solve similar issues elsewhere.
So far we have had 20 posts. I am in need of volunteers who would help me expand this work. The job would mostly consist of calling and talking to NGOs, getting their stories and social media marketing.
