We are looking to add 1-2 new staff writers to the Folkspaper team as we prepare to launch our new platform. We are in the market to add some fluffier content to our platform to help drive user engagement. We are looking to add some bright new talent to help bring relatable content to help get our platform going. About the Position: Remote $50.00/per week Post 10 tweet sized pieces on the new platform with images attached each week (minimum of one per day) Post 1 longer (400-700 words) topical article per week *this can be a repeat column or one off articles as the writer sees fit Content Guidelines: Content set A Ask Abby style advice column Listicles style clickbait Geeky content Short political updates Content set B Nerdy News Memes Cute/ silly pets Weird food About the Platform: Folkspaper is an open media app designed for both common users and cryptocurrency users. It is an open media platform. People would be able to post anything happened around or related to themselves. Folkspaper offers cryptocurrency users a channel for spending and earning Bitcoin by contributing valuable contents on our app. Folkspaper will be the place where users could deliver local news to others nearby, share experiences about cryptocurrency etc. We aim that Folkspaper ultimately becomes a new model of decentralization of journalism where Folkspaper users not only act as a reader but also a content contributor.
