You may decide to directly discuss artworks in your video, or use them as source material, and thus discuss them in your annotated bibliography. The artworks can be drawn from any sources, but should clearly connect to the currently agreed date range of the Anthropocene (from post-European industrialisation, eg. post 1800) to today. A Video Essay is a video work that explores a topic using various sources of information and that experiments with form and content. Video essays are a particular format useful for the presentation of theoretical and critical ideas.
