CSS work needed

I need someone with CSS experience to spruce up my site and to figure out a problem I am having. Here's my site. [login to view URL] I tried to create a box to distinguish my blog content on the front page (second column). Unfortunately I haven't been able to figure out how get the some of the font colors to change the way I want them to. So, I am looking for someone who can look at my site, and come up with a color scheme that fits well with my current site theme makeup. As for the other problem, take a look at my source and the styles that are being imported. You'll notice this line. "/sites/default/files/css/[login to view URL]" I have no clue what this is, but it's affecting my style sheets.
