Overview
Australians in Film (hereafter AIF) are looking to migrate their existing hosted services, namely:
• a website ([url removed, login to view]) developed on the MODx CMS platform; and
• a user and event management system built on a CiviCRM/Drupal platform.
With the recent availability of the CiviCRM system as a WordPress plugin, AIF intends to migrate the aforementioned services to a single WordPress platform, simplifying the environment and creating a single, unified administrative interface.
AIF is also looking to extend the use of the CiviCRM product, allowing AIF members to manage their own accounts. This will require the creation of new CiviCRM-based web pages developed in the same style as the current website layout.
Finally, AIF wants to expand the site to include new magazine style content.
Tasks to be Performed
The tasks to be undertaken include:
• Create a Wordpress theme based on the look & feel of the current website. This will include pages for:
• Home page, replacing current slider with equivalent plugin
• Article page (used for a variety of different page types)
• Gallery page, replacing current galleries with equivalent plugin
• Migrate the current site content to Wordpress utilizing new plugins, as well as automating the home-page display of dynamic, blog-like content.
• Migrate the current CiviCRM database to that Wordpress plugin version.
• Create new pages utilizing the CiviCRM system to support the following:
• Register/Sign-up with AIF
• View/Update membership details
• Pay membership using PayPal or other cc gateway such as Bank of America
• Sign up for membership event
• Create new pages for quarterly magazine that should automatically manage archiving.
AIF will provide all original design documents, including PSD and HTML files, as well as CiviCRM database extracts in whatever format requested.
