Database to manage orders, calculate production dates and export info to quickbooks

We are a wholesale plant company. We grow ornamental plants. And we need a software that do the following: **1. Capture orders that customers place.** Orders need to have the the basic customer information, basic shipping information, along with account numbers for different shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, etc.) and other miscellaneous information and customer preferences. I would like to send confirmations to our customers by email, if that's their preference. Also, once the order is shipped an email needs to be generated if customers would like to be notified when his or her order ships. When I capture orders, I would like to have the ability to repeat orders, sometimes customers place the same order week after week, so with one button, I'd like to repeat their last order. **2. Create reports.** I would like to database to create (A) Shipping reports and I'd like to have the ability to filter by date, type of customer, item type, shipping week, etc. (B) Propagation reports. This will be based on the lead time for each item. So I know when to propagate the plants. Each item needs to have a propagation date and a planting date. The report needs to tell me when to propagate and plant the plants. So based on the ship date, it needs to calculate this backwards. (C) Sales reports. I'd like to be able to create sales reports by customer groups, customer, item type, etc. (D) Also I'd like the software to create a 4x6 label based on the shipping information. **3. Bridge to Quickbooks.** Once an ordered is enter and confirmed. I'd like a way to export the information to quickbooks version 11 and create a sales order. Basically I'd like to mirror the orders from the database to what quickbooks has. Once the order ships, I'd like to export the information to quickbooks and print an invoice... in other words, transform the sales order into an invoice. This is a general the description. Each point will have more details. I'd like to have point number 1 & 2 first, and try it and pay for that work (1st milestone) and then work on point 3. I'd like the database to be user friendly. And be able to have dashboard where users can sign in. Something that looks clean and good. ## Deliverables Open to suggestions on how to manage this database. If you have experience working on these type of databases suggest ideas.
