We need a member area for a website to be created. The member area is for our investors. When they log into their member area, each investor will see lists of files they can view or download. These files will primarily be Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat PDF files. The first list of files available for viewing will be "FUND" related files. These are files that show Fund Summary data, and every member of that specific fund will be able to download or view that file. Please note, we have 5 funds at this time. All investor members of Fund 3 will be able to view all Fund 3 reports and documents. If an investor of Fund 3 is not an investor of Fund 4, then that investor will not be able to view any Fund 4 reports or documents. The next list display documents that are specific to that exact investor. This will include his Investor Distribution Reports and Investor Statement Reports. Each of these reports will be only for a unique investor. So one Investor will never be have access to another Investor's Distribution Reports or Statements. I am open to which ever CMS platform best meets these needs. We do not need a lot of bells and whistles. Our members/Investors will simply be logging in to view or download Fund Reports and their Personal Investor Distribution Reports and Statements. We will need at least one database that will store a unique ID for each investor and which fund(s) he or she has rights to view. The same or another database may be needed to keep track of which documents belong to which Fund or which individual Investor. We wan the members area to have the same look as our website - [login to view URL] - with some heading or graphic that shows the user they are inside the Investor's area. As the members area is just listing files available for viewing or downloading, it should be very easy to plug this content into the main body / content area of our existing web design. As part of this CMS, we will need the ability to create funds, add /edit / remove investors, and upload documents. We want a user interface that makes the administration of the members area simple and easy. ## Deliverables Investor / Members area for [login to view URL] The Investor's Members' area will provide each individual investor access to view reports specific to each Fund (Fund Summary Reports, Fund P&L Reports) that they are invested in and reports specific to each individual investor (Investor Distribution Letter and Investor Statements). The are approximately 100 individual investors, we will add more in the future. This system should be scalable to 150-200 investors. We have 5 funds currently. This system should be able to handle up to 15 funds in the future. Many of our investors are invested in multiple funds. When an Investor logs into the Members Area, he will only be able to see the Fund Reports to which he is invested in, and not be able to see the Fund Reports for funds to which he is not invested. He will be able to see his own Investor Distribution Reports and Statements only, he will not be able to see the Investor Distribution Reports and Statements of other investors. It should be most efficient to manage each investor as an individual user of the Members Area. We should have a database that will store which funds each investor belongs to. This way all investors of Fund 3 will be able to see all Fund 3 Summary Reports and P&L Reports. An individual investor ID will identify which individual reports belong to that specific investor. When an Investor logs into their Members Area, they will see two lists of files that they can view/download. The first list contains all Fund related reports / documents. The second list will show reports / statements that are unique to that investor only. The website resides on a Windows 2008 R2 machine. The CMS must be compatible with this machine. We prefer MSSQL as our host supports this and does not provide support for non-microsoft products. We are open to MySQL if it is necessary. This can be something you program from the ground up, or you use something already created by another company and simply install it and configure it for our needs. To start with the CMS should be able to handle 5 funds and 100 investors, and be able to grow to 10 funds and 200+ investors.
