We have an existing Application in VS2005 C# that writes records to a binary file and a text file.
We need some functions that can write the data to a MySQL db.
The app is reading via com port some data, this data then needs to be written to a db.
I think maybe 2 tables, but this is up to you.
Header information:
Sales Order# (int)Technician's name (vardchar), Part#(varchar) , BitFormat(varchar), Site Code (int), Group# (int), Starting ID#(longint?), #Cards to check (quantity) (int), datetime, Type(varchar)
Notes: type is not yet in the current header of attached sample file but will be shortly
Records:
sequence #(int), Site Code (int), ID# (longint), Status(varchar) ,Timestamp
After last record is written of a test, we launch a print function which then prints a clean report for the [login to view URL] attachment the wri file. So we also need a function given the SO number to create this text file that can be printed.
Meaning it will only print records with a 'good' Status, so the sequence number needs to be in sequence and ignore the bad ones in between.
