Looking for an e-commerce sales mobile app that allows agents to maintain inventory with OCR technology (sync with a desktop app/website), sell inventory, create contacts from sales and vice versa.
I would like to create an app that 1st, allows for inventory management (but can sync with a desktop app/website-that will need to be created as well- for full inventory management). 2nd, the app needs to be able to allow for the capture and maintenance of leads/contacts. It can do so in a limited capability and then allow for full maintenance with the desktop app. 3rd, the app needs to be able to utilize the inventory and leads and allow for the creation of sales tickets and allow for payment processing through any approved providers (PayPal, Capital One, Bank of America, Square, etc).
For inventory, I would love for it to manage inventory utilizing OCR but will accept it being able to utilize/create QR codes or bar codes with existing part, as we do not use barcodes at this time.
Just an idea about how I would like to see the flow - Either a sales ticket or a contact/lead would be created through the app. If the user elects to create a sales ticket, they are asked if they would like to use an existing contact or create a new contact. After the contact has been added to the sales ticket, the user can then select the necessary items that the contact would like to purchase. After said items are added to the cart/basket, the user can then add any discounts/promotions, and subsequently, collect payment. When items are sold, those items and quantities would be removed from the inventory and synced with the desktop app either via wifi or direct connection to the users' computer.
This app should also allow reporting options via the desktop app. Reports should be available on a daily, weekly YTD, monthly YTD and annual YTD basis.
Likewise, if they create the contact first, the user is asked if they would like to create a sales ticket. If a sales ticket is created, the app would follow the same flow as when creating a sales ticket.
At the end of the contact or sales ticket creation, the user is asked to add the customer to their quarterly newsletters, provide more information about a business opportunity, etc.
