Create tables to organize pages of offerings for Art Gallery

The gallery I work for is in the process of creating a website to bring offerings to life online. We have a system in place that creates pages with the appropriate information and images using our inventory system, but now we need a way to organize these pages according to their essential keywords (Artist, Title, Year, Price, Category, Thumbnail, etc.) Another developer told me this could be achieved using custom fields, etc.? We'd like to look something like this: [login to view URL] Notes: -Our site is being designed with Wordpress, and we are in the process of adding the offerings as pages (could be posts if this is easier) -We'll be in the process of adding/updating pages for some time, so is there a way for us to keep tables continually updated?
