*** The JOB: ***
I'm looking for someone to do the mostly simple cut & paste job to build a new static photo web galley to match the Premier Photo Galleries (Collections) on my current web site. See the current galley that will be used as the template gallery here: [login to view URL] -
You will be mirroring the layout and navigation for this page, but with new subjects or locations, like Trees, or The California Coast.
For a successful person, there will be multiple future jobs with the same requirements.
I will provide web-ready photos in both thumbmnail and large 700-750 px, images. Each Collection will have one or more "Gallery Pages" that will each have 20-24 thumbnail images per gallery page, and a 20-24 corresponding "Single Large Image Photo Pages" for each image on that gallery page.
Images I provide will have photo captions in the image metadata. Some images will also have keywords embedded in the metadata.
Your job will be to copy the image caption, file name, keywords, into a static html page, and make sure links are correct for both single image page and navigation links (previous / next / gallery / etc.) and in some cases to apply SEO keywords and terms into gallery descriptions or image Keywords.
SAMPLE Highlighted HTML files are attached showing what areas will be changed. In addition to web ready images, I will also provide a screen capture to show the order of how the provided images should be ordered for each Gallery Page. I will also provide the file-naming convention for the Gallery and Single image pages.
FYI: I use DreamWeaver. Once I've got the gallery page built, it takes about 3-5 minutes to create each Single Large Image Page, using SAVE AS, copy & paste, change nav links, page numbers, etc. method. Allow 3-4 hours for each gallery page & 20-24 Single Large Image pages.
*** BIDDING PRICE: ***
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
***** Please make your BID PRICE based on work to produce a single (1) Gallery html page, and the 20-24 Large Singe Image Photo html pages. This would be the BASE price. (21-25 Total delivered html pages delivered per base fee) ****
The final job (paid) price to be determined on the total number of pages in each Collection (Gallery Pages and Single Image pages).
For instance, let's say the BASE PRICE BID is 10 AMU (arbitrary monetary units) for a gallery page and the corresponding 20-24 single image pages.
So if I submit a 2-page gallery on Death Valley which has 48 images total, the fee would be BASE x (2), or 20 AMU.
If I submit a gallery with 100 images of trees, that would be (5) Gallery Pages and 100-120 Single Image pages, the fee would be BASE x (5) or 50 AMU (This is the same as the above referenced Yosemite Collection.)
Job Completion:
Final HTML pages (and images) should be delivered in a single folder via dropbox or zip folder.
Successful delivery of a job means I should be able to drop new html files into my web site and see identical user experience to current online galleries. All Navigation Links should work correctly. All Page and Image titles / descriptions / keywords / spelling should be correct. I should see fewer than a half dozen spelling mistakes across all Gallery pages and corresponding Large Single Image pages.
Ideally, the only charge I should have to make once you complete a gallery is to update the link under the gallery page line, "Also check out my Image Archive Photo Collection of XXXXXXX Pictures"
Good Communication and timely delivery are as important as accuracy and successful job completion. I'd rather have a job delivered slower but with no mistakes than a job delivered fast, but has a bunch of mistakes. I encourage freelancers to ask questions or request clarification, rather than proceed blindly and have to spend large amounts of time correcting mistakes that could have been easily avoided.
Communication via email and / or Skype is welcomed.
Hello, I'm Mayank & I've over 4 yrs of experience in Web designing & Development. I can surely work on your project to create gallery pages. Since you already have template ready, and its just a simple Copy Paste job, I wouldn't be charging more.
I checked the attached doc and the link you've posted, seems easy.
Let me know when can I start working on it.
Regards,
Mayank
