Please see attached file. We have excel files that have a facility diagram with product slotting as well as the sequence of how pallet builders pick products and put them on the pallet. Inputs: We have labeled the locations of the products. We have data on the order in which products are placed on the pallet. Outputs: We need to calculate the total number of cells traversed/distance to build each pallet.

Hi, Having read the requirement specification document, I am quite clear about the project and can do it exactly the way you want. Just have some queries, which u can answer on skype or through pvt msg as per your convenience. The queries are: 1- The distance to be measured is from a slot to the storage? if so, then storage 59 would be used for slots in the aisles on upper half and vise versa, is it so? 2- Are the storage aisles (52 & 59) bi-directional? 3- Can row 1 & 42 be used the way rows 21&22 are used?
