Your intro is the hook, which needs to be relatively timeless, with which to tell people what to expect, and why they should continue watching. I have been cutting a couple of music videos, and corporates videos recently... so you can imagine the pace difference, from frenetic energy to corporate selling, what will yours be?
Which brings me to some questions, do you have your own footage?
What is the synopsis of your show, is it light and happy, or urban and cutting edge..... or anything in between.
Depending on what you need.... Assuming you have nothing
A pitch would need to be written, incorporating ideas, and what your show is about. which would become a working script/shot list. (no actors, but panoramics, and street scenes?)
Music (royalty free) or a soundtrack needs to be agreed upon.... This can usually be sorted out with the offline edit, where you get to see the real rough cut, and we can discuss if this is holding up to expectations.
I would then work on and smooth out the cut, and depending on which camera I filmed it on would depend on how I saturate and make the images look pretty.
This may seem like a lot of work, but it doesn't need to be complicated, but for a quality piece you need this planning as a bare minimum.
IF you have your own footage (what format? downloadable?) then things become easier, and we can discuss the feel and music required for the intro, what titles, and what music.
