I need someone to assist with setting RAID 1 in my computer's BIOS.
I have attached a couple of photographs of my computer's BIOS screens and I would like someone who is both knowledgable about RAID and can use a tool like Adobe Fireworks to superimpose the correct values.
Please include in your bid 15 mins of your time (discussing on Skype) should I have any further questions.
Hello.
Since you have enabled raid in bios, then save and exit from it. You'll see raid configuration utility key combination in boot process right after bios. Usuall it's a ctrl+i key combination.
I've been in IT for about 20 years and have done many RAID setups, mainly on servers, but a few desktops.
I'm a bit rusty on desktop RAID, but did a quick google refresher. I'll help you get RAID 1 up and am reachable via Skype should you need to chat voice. In cases like this it comes in handy.
Specific setup depends on you BIOS implementation. Is this an existing setup or a fresh OS load?
I am a system administrator and I can help you with this easy task. But at the beginning you have to tell me, what type of RAID do you want (to prioritize fault tolerance or speed).
We can discuss your task via Skype (by text), and I can answer all of your questions.
