Browser Extension Development

Case/Scenario There are millions of PDF documents located on a server in Russia. The files are accessible only by machines in some specific locations in Iran based on the IP addresses of the machines. The machines/computers are using gateway servers which their IP addresses are granted access to the server hosting the PDF documents. Users in Iran launch their browsers, visit the site/server, search for files and download the wanted files. In order for computers in some other locations in the neighbouring countries in Mid. East to have access, a browser extension runs on one or more machines in the Iran office(s) and the extension sends the wanted files to the machines in the neighbouring countries, say Oman. Users in Oman visit the same server (web pages) in Russia, search for documents and when they want to download some files, the extension on their browser connects to the extension(s) in Iran and get the file(s) through the Iran extensions. Given that the files are now for the users in Oman, there is a need for the extension in browsers in Oman to edit the PDF before making it available to the users. It will edit a line (some strings) in the PDF and other permissions/properties in the PDF. Task. You are asked to develop the applications or extensions that will fetch the files from the Russian server and send them to the Omann client. In addition, you will develop the extension in Omann computers, which will edit the PDF before making them available for the public. It is prefered that there is a feature on the Iranian extensions that can take a username and password to connect to the server in Russia and download the files in case their (the Iranian) gateway server is not granted access i.e. its IP is not in the access control list. Lastly, the username/pwd must be strongly encrypted (4028bit if possible) in the extensions and the files being transferred from Iran to Oman could also be encrypted if possible i.e. include a feature to encrypt the files if the users want.
