Hello freelancers! I am in need of someone skilled at fast data parsing. The way the program should work is like this 1. Program monitors an ini file 1 for new entries. 2. If a new entry is discovered, then the program should send a query and parse the result. 3. The program then saves the results to an ini file 2. 4. When the program is closed, the program should delete ini file 2. As an idea, the sise of each entry can be 1600 lines and 4 million characters to parse. If anybody would like specifics on the parsing I need done, please feel free to message me. The language used is not important to me. I look forward to hearing from you all. Rob

For the best file monitoring, you better use C#.NET as it will detect any file change/add/delete. And it would be able to parsing the file in very quick by using SQL for any database or text file. Let me know the structure of database or text file you need to process.

Hello, I can develop application for you using C++ or C# (Visual Studio 2010 or Visual Studio 2013). I think using C++ allows to implement fester code/parsing. Please answer for following questions: 1. What is criteria to define that entry is new or old? 2. As I understand the entry in ini file 1 is sql statement. Is it correct? 3. What data is result of query executing? 4. What data should be the result of pursing? 5. How you plan to execute this application? 6. Should it be windows desktop or console application? Hello. I need additional info on your task, some specification on ini file, what database do you use, what is time lag in monitoring and parsing, etc. Having that info i can specify the time and price for the whole job done. I have experience in parsing: i wrote a convertor for card processing file from visa/mastercard format into specified processing file format.
