Design and implement MSSQL 2008 R2 Backup, Archive, and Encryption procedure

We are currently using MSSQL 2008 R2 for one of our systems. We have several key tables that need to be able to be backed up and archived as well as encrypted. Ideally I would like a full back up once a month and incremental in between (daily).

I am expecting a procedure to be delivered to me that explains what you plan to do, how you plan to do it, and what are the pro's and con's of the method, and, if possible, other methods to achieve the goal.

Once we decide on the procedure, you will then implement it first on a test box, then on the production environment once we test.

The backup/archive will not take place over the network and will take place over the internet, so please be aware of backup times (transfer time). Currently a compressed version of the DB table(s) are around 300GB.

Things to note:

1. We would like to be able to select certain tables to backup

2. We would like to be able to backup to multiple locations (one source, multiple destinations)
