Creative Photo Editing

We are seeking an experienced and very proficient person to preform retouching and custom creative art editing on a regular on going basis.

We are a professional photography studio that specializes in custom creative art portraiture of a variety of subjects however predominantly newborns, babies, and children.

Approximately 20-30 images per session will need to be edited. The photos should be retouched so that the "overall look" remains consistent throughout the set of images. A sample of desired edit style will be provided for you to mimic. Photos are shot in RAW and will be uploaded into a Dropbox account and you will be required to edit them then save them as both JPEG and unlocked PSD files. The successful candidate must be able to edit photos, take feedback well, and upload the edited images within 72 hours. Each upload will be treated as a separate project for which we will pay a fixed price once the images have been edited to the required standard. For the right candidate there will be ongoing work of 3-5 projects per week containing approximately 20-30 images.

Candidate must:

- Have in depth knowledge of the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. And be willing to purchase the following Actions to ensure consistency with our current editing style.

- Have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

- Be proficient in background removal, body contouring, object removal, multiple photo compositing, color correction etc and willing to purchase the following tutorial to do blanket and background fade:

-Have excellent follow up skills and excellent attention to detail.

- Be self motivated- self directed with very high quality standards.

- Minimum 2 years experience as a master retouched is preferred.

- Familiarity with Dropbox and other file sharing software.

- Reliable High Speed internet connection.

- Strong work ethic and drive to meet goals on a daily- weekly- monthly basis.

- You MUST have an online portfolio, resume, and cover letter outlining your photo retouching and image editing experience and describing why you would be a great fit for this opportunity.

- Your Portfolio MUST include a minimum of three before and after edit iexamples of your work. Images must be portrait style. At least one Newborn image preferred.

We will then shortlist some candidates and provide each with 4 "typical" images to be edited as a trial and for us to then choose the successful candidate.

Examples of edited images and the level of retouching required will be provided.
