I need a procedure to tell me the next time a Cron Format will fire.
If I have a list of cron strings I would like to sort them by the order they will fire.
I need this code in Delphi 6
I need it well documented
I will be using the TumCronJob component from appControls <[login to view URL]> you can get a demo component from there. What I am planning to do is being able to have a list of events and sending the next event to fire to the component. After the event is fired determine if this was a one time event if not then put back into list in order it will fire next.
Has to be able to accept all the different permutations. There is a project VisualChron at <[login to view URL]>
that pretty much does what I plan to do - I do not want the program to have to check a list each minute and also it is very hard to understand the logic so if I run into problems with it I would not be able to fix it. Also the CronJob component is thread based.
