CAB/Ace Compressed Program Extraction Application

I require a program that will perform multiple functions for decompressing compressed programs. This program must be written in Visual C++ 6 or any language which will easily allow me to move controls, and change the text of labels and such, without requiring me to know the language. I distribute various types of large compressed files, in an uncommon format and want an application that will not only function to my specifications but also suit the look of my website upon its release. The program will require the following functions: Ability to decompress a password protected winAce compressed file (.ace file) and then proceed to decompress the produced .cab file. Winace is used simply to split the larger compressed cab file into pieces. It must also be able to perform an SFV check (sfv is a type of checksum validation in case your wondering) meaning it must be able to open a .sfv file and perform a CRC32 check according to SFV32 standards. There will also be a text file, which the program will display in proper format for the end user. Nothing special here, just certain font etc. The program will load and play a music file (Probably mod/x3m etc). As far as apperance goes there will be a simple skin which will be applied as a border with some transparencies, nothing really complicated. I already have the skin, SDK's for the cab and ace compression, and a couple of custom controls, which will be provided upon acceptance of the project. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The program should be compatible with all versions of windows.
