Asset Tracker

I need a simple VB.NET application that runs on our INTRANET using MS ACCESS and/or MS SQL. Testing of the application will be in MS ACCESS and final version will run off of MS ACCESS and/or MS SQL. This system is used to A. track the movement of company assets like computers, tools, radios (walkie talkie), etc are borrowed around between departments B. Track the rental of these assets to customers. C. Servicing of assets D. Decommisioning of assets **The primary use of the system are for: 1. Generate Barcode (for every item to be tracked) 2. Track Frequencies Programmed into Radios (Walkie Talkie for customers, in-house use or Rental to customers). Radio is a TYPE of asset, right? 3. Manage Rental (Track when a product us rented out, when it comes back etc) 4. Manage Repairs (Repair assets that are faulty or Decommission non-serviceable ones) 5. Management Reports on all parts 1-4** NB: See attached file for full description. Feel free to suggest better ways of making the system better _I envision having tabs that say:_ 1. Generate/manage Barcode 2. Manage Radio Programming (a simple table to capture frequencies in walkie talkies) 2b. Request Authorization 3. Manage Rental 4. Manage Repairs 6. Management Reports ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
