I am looking at creating an extranet for my future clients so that they can login online and check their case status, 24/7.
I am interested in using an open source alternative to Basecamp:

I am thinking about using Project Pier

"ProjectPier is a free, open source, self-hosted PHP application for managing tasks, projects and teams through an intuitive web interface. ProjectPier will help your organization communicate, collaborate and get things done. It functions similar to commercial groupware/project management products, but allows for the freedom and scalability of self-hosting. Even better, it will always be free."
I need a PHP programmer to help customise Project Pier to act like Basecamp as well as brand it with logos and some simple graphical design (I will be providing the graphics/logos).
Your project bid should be for customising, coding, and installing the software on my server.
There will be future projects to you for maintenance, further work.
Looked through that list myself a couple of months ago, decided to go for PHPCollab instead. However, I'm sure I'll be able to work with Project Pier, help customize it and even fork it if required. Thank you for your consideration.
