We are looking to build a directory website with ecommerce functionality. Businesses that list on the website will be able to offer and sell deals via our website. The design is to include a searchable database of businesses that can be searched by type or by location.
Businesses and end users must be able to register and have a profile page, therefore a database for each will be required in the backend. Front-end forms for business and end user profile information are required.
Users must be able to pay via a secure online payment facility with a payment gateway. Once a user purchases something from the site, we need the ability to create automatic coupons/receipts (in PDF or email) so they can print and present them to the business to redeem their purchases.
This site will contain many products/deals, so we need to be able to update easily online, and be able to add and remove products or listed businesses (needs to have an easy interface for admin).
Other pages will include; about us, how it works, contact, f.a.q and others.
Search Engine Optimization must be considered and factored in while building the site.
We will need to have access to the code, and will need all the code, as we will manage and maintain the site, we need instruction on how to make all the changes and tech details, (Site admin login, DB admin passwords, etc). The site will transfer fully to my IT person when it’s done to continue the admin.
We will discuss more details as they come up, once we pick the freelancer we can send a detailed outline (including images of preferred layout) for the minimum requirements. Please do not send me a generic reply, read my project, and if you can do it then send me a message.
